About Anne Perrottet

Anne is a skilled and empathic individual, family, and couple’s counsellor committed to a positive psychological approach. She helps clients improve their psychological and emotional health by empowering them to focus on inner strengths, resilience, confidence, and zest for life. She is diligent and resourceful with many years of real-life experience diagnosing issues and designing personalised treatment plans.


Anne draws on a range of therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Grief Therapy.


Anne has university degrees in Psychology, Education, Community Welfare, and Counselling, and a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology. She has completed several continuing education short courses in Australia and the USA and has a wealth of experience as a wife and mother of thirteen children. She is the author of ‘Thriving and Surviving Raising Thirteen’ and a contributing author to several magazines.


Anne has been a regular keynote speaker and commentator on family issues at various events in Australia, Africa, and the USA.


Anne loves to dabble in art, music, and Spanish. She loves to spend time outdoors with her family hiking, skiing, and kayaking.


Anne’s positive psychological approach is grounded in her strong faith and sense of spirituality and welcomes any clients who wish to discuss or incorporate their spirituality into their counselling sessions.
